Weekday lunches

There can be nothing better than meeting up with friends or new acquaintances over a meal to chew the cud on what’s happening, who’s who and who’s doing what. And this is where our lunch times come in.

Our lunch time dining starts every weekday from 12 noon with the exception of Bank Holidays. We have a menu that changes weekly – an example menu is shown below – and our meals are always nutritious, wholesome and professionally prepared.

Our portion sizes are to suit and if you do have any special dietary requirements then please let us know. We can always offer a vegetarian or gluten free alternative. Additionally, vanilla ice cream is available for dessert if preferred. We aim to cater for every taste and requirement. Just ask!

And at £4.00 for two courses – with no cooking or washing up to take care of – we believe we offer unbeatable value for money. With unbeatable company too.

The Food Standards Agency is an independent government agency. Their remit is to promote food that we can trust and eat. On a recent inspection we were granted the highest rating of five for hygienic food preparation, cleanliness and food safety record keeping. Which means you’re safe in the knowledge that what we cook for you is nothing but the very best.


All we ask of you is to make your booking before 10 am on the day you wish to eat but preferably 24 hours in advance by telephoning 01299 823240. Of course, you can book in person at the Centre, and you can book up to one week in advance.


The Elizabeth Mills Centre is a registered charity and whilst we do employ regular staff we are also dependent on volunteers. If you fancy helping out in the kitchen, front of house or at one of our many events do please get in touch.
